SMC's successful move to virtual committee meetings has been highlighted in two blogs published on the Healthcare Improvement Scotland blog site.
The first blog, by SMC's Public Involvement Advisor Lindsay Lockhart, details how the SMC team worked to ensure committee meetings could take place virtually during the current COVID-19 pandemic. A second blog from Myeloma UK's Patient Advocacy and Policy Officer, Daniel Cairns, gives the SMC Patient Group Partner perspective on the virtual meetings. Daniel, who is a member of the Scottish Cancer Coalition, also sits on SMC’s Public Involvement Network (PIN) Advisory Group.
