New short films help explain work of SMC

A series of short films has been developed to help explain our work. 

The films, which will appear on our website, look at a range of aspects of our work, including how our pharmacy assessors review a medicine and the role of our three public partners. 

Some of our patient group partners have also taken part in films about patient group participation in our processes. 

The first film to be added to the website features our former Co-Vice Chair, Gail Caldwell, talking about how she and her fellow committee members consider evidence about a new medicine. 

The new films, which will be added to the website over the next few weeks, join existing films about making a patient group submission to SMC and how we assess value for money.
