Indication under review: the prevention of miscarriage in women presenting with bleeding in the first trimester of pregnancy and have a history of recurrent miscarriages.
Prometrium® is a licensed medicine replacing established off-label use of progesterone for this indication.
This advice applies only in the context of approved NHSScotland Patient Access Scheme (PAS) arrangements delivering the cost-effectiveness results upon which the decision was based, or PAS/ list prices that are equivalent or lower.
