RECOMMENDATION.

Tadalafil may be prescribed under the conditions of Schedule 11 and represents an alternative to other phosphodiesterase type 5 (PSE-5) inhibitors, primarily for patients for whom the longer duration of action represents a significant advantage.

This drug is subject to the same NHS prescribing restrictions as other drug treatments for erectile dysfunction in terms of National Health Service (General Medical Services) (Scotland) Regulations1995.
