Following an abbreviated submission
terlipressin acetate 0.12mg/ml solution for injection (Glypressin Solution) is accepted for use in NHS Scotland for the treatment of bleeding oesophageal varices in patients for whom terlipressin is an appropriate choice of therapy.
It replaces a formulation that requires reconstitution and is associated with only a modest cost increase.
